So the question is what makes a good networking opportunity? This is a question that will bring about several different answers. Naturally, the industry you are representing will have a lot to do with the way you network. Some people may say that the number of people attending the event makes it a success of failure. Well, what if you have to choose between two different events on the same night? One event has a guaranteed attendance of 200 people and the other has maybe 20 people on average. Which event would you attend? Most would say the event with 200 people. Now what if you knew that the group with 20 people was comprised of Bill Gates, Robert Kiyosaki, Sharon Lechter, Donald Trump, and others? I think most would say that the smaller group would be their choice. So you see, the number of people in a networking event is irrelevant. What is relevent is WHO is in the networking group.
I would like to know your thoughts about what makes a networking group great.
Wishing you abundance,
